Piston Linkage Assembly

Incorrect assembly of the piston linkage can lead to issues with chamber fill or leaks when the piston is at rest.

When in Spring Config you will want to attach the chicago screws to the upper hole. Using the lower hole in spring will cause the piston to sit too low, blocking the water inlet when the piston is raised.

When in Direct Config you will want to attach the chicago screws to the lower hole. Using the upper hole in Direct will cause the piston to sit too high, leading to water entering the grouphead from the boiler when the piston is at rest.
