Replacing the Potentiometer (Brew Temp Knob / Steam Switch)

These two videos will guide you on how to remove the side panels and then replace the potentiometer.

The video will guide you through where the relevant screws are.

You do not need to cut the wires like in the video.

We supply a pin removal tool with the LED parts to make it easier for you to remove the old wire from the 18 pin connector. If you look at the holes of the connector, there's a small added space top right instead of being a perfect square. The pin removal tool goes through there and above the metal square of the wire, and will depress a locking tab on the pin, allowing you to pull the wire out without much force. The alternative to pulling the wire out is to use something small that will fit in the slot and push on the metal connector while the actual tool is holding the locking prong down to slide the wire out.
