Pin Connector Tips
Using the Pin Removal Tool
if you look at the holes of the connector, there's a small added space top right instead of being a perfect square. The tool goes through there and above the metal square of the wire, once it's in like the picture below you can just pull the wire out without much force. The other option is to use something small like a small hex key or really anything to push on the metal connector while the actual tool is holding the locking prong down to slide the wire out. I hope that helps!
Fixing a pin that is not locking in
Try getting tweezers or a very small flat tip screw driver to push on the metal part of the pin to get it in. If that doesn't work, see if that one pin pulls out of the 18 pin connector by hand. If so, there's a small locking tab on the pin that, if pressed down, can prevent the pin from locking in.Using tweezers or a small pin, you can push that tab back up and reinstall the pin into the connector and confirm it locks. You also want to make sure that these little metal pins within the 18-pin connector are actually straight and not bent. A bent pin can cause the wire to fall out as well. If it's not centered, use something small to center in.
