Portafilter Does Not Fit

⚠️ The Argos takes a slightly modified 58 mm portafilter where the ears are smaller.

Other standard 58 mm portafilters will not fit the Argos.

You can still use accessories made for 58mm machines such as (precision) baskets, tampers, WDT tools, and funnels

Double check that your grouphead gasket and shower screen assembly is not sitting too low.

If it is, use a wooden spoon or similar to push upwards on the silicone gasket all around to make sure it is sitting in the correct position. Do not push on the shower screen.

Note: It is not possible to push it ‘too far up’ - the design of the grouphead means that it cannot go past the correct position.

Sometimes when folks swap springs or configurations, they can reassemble the piston linkage incorrectly, and the piston ends up sitting too low, pushing the gasket and shower screen down when it is installed.
