Low Pre-Infusion Pressure

If you're finding that your boiler pressure is consistently low due to a warm grouphead, you can try switching to Classic Mode where the machine's temperature algorithm does not let the boiler drop below 114c - this usually means a minimum pre-infusion pressure of 1.5 bars.


In practice, we've found that this does not sacrifice brew water temperature accuracy too much, usually about 1c degrees too hot or so.
