Steam Wand Leak

First, confirm the location of your leak on the steam wand assembly

Area 1 Fix: Steam Wand O-ring Part #0057

Area 2 Fix:

Area 3 Fix: Replace PTFE Crush Gasket

Area 4 Fix:

  1. Tighten joint to ensure full compression of PTFE gasket
  2. Replace PTFE Gasket for Steam wand Nut

Area 5 Fix:

  1. Tighten joint to ensure full compression against gasket within
  2. Apply Molykote grease to ball joint to improve seal
  3. Ensure all components are in the right order
  4. Email support if ball joint gasket is worn/torn

Area 6 Fix:

You might find that there are drips from the tip of the steam wand over time due to wear of the needle-valve o-ring. It is the red o-ring pictured below.

⚠️ The o-ring wears out prematurely if you fully tighten the steam wand knob each time you use it. For longer o-ring life, stop turning the knob as soon as the steam flow stops—don't tighten it completely.
